Alexis Sable
Owner/Executive Director
Alexis Sable is the Founder and Executive Director of Wholesome Roots Therapy LLC. As both a dedicated autism parent and seasoned professional in the ABA and human services field, Alexis brings a deeply personal and uniquely qualified perspective to her work.
She studied Applied Psychology at Southern New Hampshire University, earning a place on the Dean’s List and receiving a nomination to the National Society of Leadership and Success.
Alexis has held leadership positions as Program Director for the Boys and Girls Club of TM and the Byron Dorgan Youth Wellness Center, and has worked as a Direct Support Professional with individuals with developmental and physical disabilities. Moreover, her clinical background includes experience as a Registered Behavior Technician and clinic manager, where she gained firsthand insight into both family needs and systemic challenges in the ABA field.
Driven by her experience as a mother to two neurodivergent children, Alexis founded Wholesome Roots Therapy to create an affirming, compassionate, and inclusive environment for families navigating ABA services. She is committed to honoring each child’s individuality and helping families grow stronger—together and from the roots.

Ellenor Collins
BCBA/Clinical Director
With nearly a decade of experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Ellen has worked with children and teens across a wide range of ages, abilities, and needs. From providing one-on-one support as a behavior technician to leading clinical teams as a BCBA, Ellen brings a well-rounded, compassionate perspective to every family she serves.
Ellen is passionate about meeting each child where they are--believing that effective support starts with understanding their unique strengths, needs, and learning styles. She specializes in using evidence-based strategies to design personalized behavior support plans that promote growth in key areas such as communication, social skills, daily living routines, and emotional regulation. Ellen focuses on developing practical, meaningful skills that help children thrive in their daily lives, strengthen the entire family, and support long-term success.
Ellen firmly believes in making the therapeutic experience a collaborative effort-- working closely with family members, teachers, and other professionals to ensure consistent progress that carries over across home, school, and community settings. She is dedicated to creating positive, lasting changes that foster each child’s independence, confidence, and overall quality of life, while ensuring families feel more connected, supported, and empowered every step of the way.
As a Clinical Director, Ellen is also committed to building a caring, knowledgeable team. She works hard to ensure each staff member feels supported and that every family who walks through the door feels heard.
Outside of work, Ellen loves spending time with her two dogs, enjoying the mountains of Salt Lake City, and finding new ways to stay creative.

Marissa Souder
Registered Behavior Technician
Marissa is a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician with a strong commitment to supporting children and families through personalized, in-home ABA therapy. She brings a thoughtful and patient-centered approach to her work, helping children thrive by building trust, consistency, and meaningful routines. With a background in early childhood and behavioral intervention, and as a lead RBT, Marissa is passionate about empowering neurodivergent learners and celebrating every step of progress. She is excited to be part of the Wholesome Roots Therapy team and looks forward to making a lasting impact in the lives of the families she serves.
